In 1998, I started my Long Island dog trainer career working with dogs at a grooming spa located on Merrick Road, in Merrick, Long Island, NY. I easily honed in on canine body language and behaviors and realized I had a true passion for working with dogs. It was only natural for me to continue to the next level.

In 2002, I had my first son and found out he has special needs. I wanted to train a dog to assist him and soon began a dog training apprenticeship with a dog training company. There I experienced hands-on work in obedience, agility, and protection. I was hired shortly after and was an integral part of the company for 8 years. During that time, I successfully trained hundreds of dogs, including several for some of New York’s most prominent professional athletes.

In 2005, I was blessed with a second son, and thus I have a deep understanding of busy families who need flexible assistance in training their puppy or dog. I know the everyday hustle and bustle that comes with having a home and the importance of properly introducing a new pet to the family. I have specially designed training programs focused for busy individuals balancing a family and career.
